Promptly centrifuge with refrigeration and separate Serum or Plasma into chilled plastic screw capped vial using approved guidelines.Freeze immediately and ship with dry ice. Ascorbic acid at very high concentration (exceeding 51 mcmol/mL plasma) can interfere.
